Came to MO with her mother
1880 census says that both her parents were born in PA, however her father's obit says he was born in NY. That census also makes her two years younger.
Many probably called her "Grandma" as she is referred to such in a short newspaper article written about her death (it is not her obituary, it says an obituary will be forthcoming...??)
"Mrs. Mary Easter passed away at her home Wenesday morning, April 10, at 12:45 o'clock. Had she lived until May 21, she would have been 96 years of age.
"'Grandma' had been confined to her bed for more than ten months and the friends and loved ones had contributed every loving care possible to make her last months as easy as possible.
"She will lie in state at the home of her son, Charles Easter, at 141 Middle Street. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. T. L. Forrester, at the Church of God, Friday afternoon at 2 pm.
"An obituary will be forthcoming in our next issue."
