"Funeral for Charles Easter, Bonne Terre, will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 10 at the Church of Christ in Bonne Terre with Bernell Weems officiating. Burial will be in Adam's Cemetery in Bonne Terre.
"Mr. Easter was born Oct. 10, 1880, in Bonne Terre, a son of the late David and Mary Cronk Easter. He died Sept. 7 at Mineral Area Hospital at the age of 88 yaers.
"His wife, Mary Forshee Easter, preceeded him in death, as did a daughter, Nell Bangert and a son Jessie Easter.
"Surviving are: three daughters, Mildren Cario, _______, and _______, all of California; two sons, Otis Easter, St. Louis and Orville Easter, Bonne Terre, Rt. 2; one sister, Bell Dotson, Bonne Terre; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
"Mr. Easter was the oldest living charter member of the Church of Christ."

"Charles Easter of Route Two, Bonne Terre, was born October 10, 1888, in Bonne Terre and died Sunday, September 7, 1969, at Mineral Area Osteopathic Hospital, age 88. He was a son of the late David and Mary Cronk Easter.
"He was preceeded in death by his wife, Mary Forshee Easter, one daughter, Nell Bangert, and one son, Jessie Easter.
"Surviving are: three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Carlo, _______ and _______, all of California; two sons, Otis Easter, Louis, and Orville Easter, Route Two, Bonne Terre; one sister, Mrs. Bell Dotson, Bonne Terre; 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
"Services were Wednesday, September 10, 2pm., at the Church of Christ, Bonne Terre, Evangelist Bernell Weems officiated and interment was in Adams Cemetery under the direction of C. Z. Boyer and son, Bonne Terre.
"Mr. Easter was the oldest living charter member of the Church of Christ, Bonne Terre."
