Obituary:
"Jesse P. Easter, well known resident of Bonne Terre for many years, died in Barnes Hospital St. Louis, Thursday morning. Mr. Easter became ill five years ago suffering with a heart condition. He was affiliated with the St. Joseph Lead Company here until ill health forced him to retire.
"Jesse Pearl Easter, son of Charles Easter of Farmington Route Three and the late Mary Belle Easter, was born in Bonne Terre, Oct. 5, 1905, and died Nov. 3, 1949, at the age of 44 years and 29 days.
"On Oct 6. 1926, he was united in marriage to the former Dorothy Thomure of Bonne Terre. They became the parents of three children, _____, _____, and _____, all at home.
"Those left to mourn his death are his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Easter, the children mentioned above, two brothers, Orville Easter of Bonne Terre; Otis Easter, St. Louis; four sisters, Mrs. Mildred Carlo and Mrs. Nell Bangert, both of St. Louis; _____; _____; many other relatives and a host of friends."
